A little about me

Photography, to me, is a form of expression and relaxation. It has taken me on many adventures and has introduced me to many amazing people. This blog is where I talk about the shoots that I do and how they went, sometimes including behind-the-scenes pictures or videos! Feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think! Mt Tamalpais 7/30/11

Me and my friends, Brina and Brent, went up to Mt. Tamalpais for the first time. I saw a picture on flickr that someone took from up there and it was amazing and I thought to myself, "I HAVE to go there!". The drive was a little less than 2 hours to get up there from South San Jose, not too bad. When we were driving it was nice and cool and a bit cloudy in the SF area. When we got to the top it was pretty hot! Pretty dramatic temp change. We got there and had to park then hike about 0.3 miles to the VERY top. There was some kind of look out tower up there with people in it but normal people weren't allowed inside, not sure why they where there...maybe to look out...since its a look out tower?? lol. We found a good spot and I took an awesome 6 exposure panorama that I'm thinking about making a print of!

From there you can see all of the north bay! it was a bit hazy so you couldn't see too far south but it was still amazing! While I was up there I decided to do a cool 5mins time lapse to watch the clouds flow over the mountains. I turned that 5mins into about 15 seconds.

On our way back down the hill to go home some motorcyclists were going around people and driving like asses and they went around us as well. Then we saw cars starting to slow down and saw that one of them was probably driving too fast and slid out and his bike stopped and the rider got thrown down the cliff a little!! We pulled over cause Brent is certified in CPR just incase but he was ok, there was people around him and we saw him moving and talking. Idiot. Here is a cell picture I took of the accident.

The guy standing at the bottom is where the dude was laying. Again, he's ok. Hope he learned his lesson.

Anyways....go to Mt. Tamalpais, its awesome!! lol.
